The Dead Fish - Crab House & Prime Rib. A Nautical themed fortish style roadhouse restaurant
featuring an array of crab dishes & prime rib. The beautifully fully restored restaurant features
a breath-taking view of the San Pablo Bay from almost every seat in the house. The Dead Fish
features 2 fireplaces plus nighty swing dancing. A great place for banquets & other special events
as we can seat up to 220 people. We also offer weekend brunch.
The Dead Fish Executive Chef and co-owner is Andrea Froncillo who was born in Naples, Italy.
Froncillo received his formal culinary training in the early seventies and graduated with honors
from the E.A.I.C., a culinary school in Trieste, Italy. Froncillo then worked for a decade on
luxury cruise liners and eventually found his way to the United States in 1980.
In San Francisco, Froncillo was captain and sommelier at the landmark Ernie's Restaurant. After
Ernie's, Froncillo went on to open a dozen acclaimed venues in Nevada, Alaska and California
including Ristorante Portofino in Juneau, Alaska; Golden Bear Lodge in Sonoma, California; River
Inn Casino in Reno, Nevada; and Ristorante Antipasti, Bella Luna and Steps Trattoria, all in San
Francisco, California.
Froncillo's menu at The Dead Fish features signature dishes such as Crab Chowder, Crab Alfredo,
Iron Skillet Roasted Mussels and the famous "Killer Crab" which boats two plus pounds of Whole
Dungeness Crab Roasted in a Garlic Sauce.
