THE PROGRAM
Monroe College is home to over 500 hospitality management students who represent
not only New York City, but also many foreign nations. The program differs
from others in the region in that it has a very unique advisory board
consisting of the leaders of industry locally and nationally who actively assist in
curricular revision as well as the employment and internship needs of our
students.
We prepare our students to graduate into local and national industry with three strengths- analytical thinking, communication skill, and team based management. These
three issues are presented to the student at every level of his academic
career at the school and subsequently allows our graduates to assimilate into
the managerial capacity quite rapidly and successfully.
Monroe does not offer narrowly focused technical courses,
but broad based, though provoking case-study classes which constantly
challenge the student to solve problems with the ramifications in mind prior
to execution.
The most affordable private school in the state, Monroe enjoys a small-class
environment with technologically advanced systems providing students with a
premier educational experience.
