North Seattle Community College offers an Associate of Applied Science
Degree in Culinary Arts as well as shorter term certificates in Restaurant
Cooking, Restaurant Management, Commercial Cooking and Dining Room Service.
The program which has been in operation since 1971 is accredited by the
American Culinary Federation.
These programs are designed to help students learn the skills needed for
employment in a variety of hospitality careers. Under the direction of
experienced industry professionals, the comprehensive program gives students
the practical skills, knowledge and hands-on experience necessary for rapid
advancement in an industry filled with opportunities for skilled workers.
