Hale & Hearty Soups is New York's premier upscale, quick-serve lunch concept. We feature "homemade" gourmet soups, freshly tossed to order salads, and innovative sandwiches. Hale and Hearty Soups operates a soup manufacturing facility in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This position is located in this Brooklyn production facility.

Responsibilities include:

? Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items. ? Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner. ? Comply consistently with our quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures. ? Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area. ? Performs related duties such as helping to prepare garbage, cleaning around the facility and help with any other projects as assigned by the Commissary Manager.

Skills and abilities needed:

? Ability to thrive in a fast paced and busy work environment. ? Ability to do repetitive work. ? Ability to work in an environment where exposed to cold, heat & water. ? Proficiently being able to utilize a wide range of kitchen tools and utensils, including chopping knives and vegetable grinders. ? Ability to work at an efficient and consistent pace.

Compensation: $10-$15 per hour DOE
