This is an exciting opportunity for a high energy Culinary professional who is seeking the opportunity of a lifetime to manage an in-trend, farm to table, food hall concept. This key leadership position is directly responsible for the successful operation of the Culinary Department in a food hall located in a downtown posh area of St. Louis, MO. Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology/Management/or related field; or A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts or culinary certificate and required experience - Minimum of five (5) years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience - Extensive restaurant management experience of $5M+ volume - High volume, complex foodservice operations experience in a face-paced restaurant environment - Multiple cuisine experience - highly desirable - Food hall concept or multiple high volume cuisine experience - highly desirable - Fresh food, farm to market experience -- highly desirable - Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation -Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet -Must be able to successfully complete criminal background checks (State and Federal) and drug screenings
