Panera, Chipotle grow as traditional fast food struggles

Traditional fast-food companies including McDonald's and Taco Bell parent Yum Brands have said they expect a trying year, while Panera Bread Co. and Chipotle Mexican Grill are ringing up solid results. Panera and Chipotle have positioned themselves in the now sweet spot between traditional fast food and waiter service, and their earnings reports Tuesday indicated they might avoid the drop in customer traffic some competitors anticipate, The Wall Street Journal reports....
