As I shared on social media last week, President Donald Trump has filled his Secretary of Agriculture post, the last of his open cabinet positions. After weeks of speculation involving a wide array of potential candidates, Trump’s final pick was Sonny Perdue (no relation to the poultry company), a former two-term governor of Georgia with longstanding ties to agribusiness.
