Woman sues Jimmy John's restaurant after eating sprouts

The attorneys for an Iowa woman who allegedly got sick after eating a sandwich with sprouts from a Jimmy John's restaurant in West Des Moines, Iowa, have filed a lawsuit against the restaurant. Attorneys Steven P. Wandor and Kara M. Simons of Des Moines filed suit in district court in Polk County, Iowa, on Tuesday on behalf of Heather Tuttle, 27, of Clive, Iowa. Wandor and Simons are working in conjunction with a Seattle-based law firm that specializes in food safety cases, Marler Clark. Jimmy John's spokeswoman Mary Trader did not respond to requests for comment on Tuesday night...
