School Description

The Art Institute of New York City is one of The Art Institutes, a system of 27 educational institutions in North America, offering postsecondary eduction programs in the creative and culinary arts. In the culinary field, the school offers the Associate in Occupational Studies degree in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management, and certificates in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, and Restaurant Management. In the visual arts, offerings include the Associate of Occupational Studies in Art and Design Technology with a concentration in Graphic Design or Multimedia & Web Design. Keeping books - monthly basis or four 13 week periods?

We have a restaurant with a full service bar - about 2M in annual volume. Currently, we keeep all books on a monthly bookeeping basis. Makes sense because we have so many monthly bills. We have 12 P&L periods, of course, and management bonus
