Program Description
The Cook Street Food and Wine Career Program includes intensive training at our Denver facility, followed by travel and study in France and Italy. Our graduates emerge from the program armed not only with a solid foundation of culinary knowledge and skills, but also with a rich appreciation for the culture, history, and heritage of great cuisine. Our program focuses strictly on the culinary arts, food history, and food culture, ensuring that every moment in our classroom builds a foundation of culinary excellence. Students work side-by-side with chef-instructors to prepare a complete menu each day, receiving the immeasurable benefits of constant close supervision and direct personal feedback.
Cook Street is unique among cooking schools and an excellent choice for those seeking a strictly food-focused education.

School Description
Our curriculum revolves around the principles and culture of classical European cuisine. We focus exclusively on core culinary knowledge and wine, seeking to instill in our graduates the fundamental ability to recognize, create and appreciate cuisine of the highest quality. We stress the importance of palate development, incorporating a gourmet meal with wine and chef's critique into each day's lesson. By emphasizing history and context over mere technique, we strive to push our students beyond sterile mastery of recipes and skills, nuturing instead the deep-rooted culinary knowledge from which confidence and creativity are born.
