School Description
Welcome to the Galveston College Culinary Arts Academy. Our institute is located on beautiful Galveston Island, Texas. Come join us at the beach for some cooking fun in the sun on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico.
Our staff and our program share affiliations with the American Culinary Federation, Texas Chefs Association, National Restaurant Association, Texas Restaurant Association, International Association of Culinary Professionals and the Chaine des Rotisseurs.
Our Chef instructors are dedicated to passing on their knowledge as they teach people on how to cook. Baking and pastry, saucier, garde manger, and international cuisine are a few of the classes that our students receive instruction in as they dice, slice, broil, poach, grill, broil, braise and sauté their way through our program.
At The Galveston College Culinary Arts Academy it is our mission to provide our students with an affordable, practical and realistic education that equips them with the skills necessary to successfully enter the workforce and to excel in the professional and continued educational endeavors.
