School Description

Since 1987, SCLAFANI'S COOKING SCHOOL, INC. (SCS) has enjoyed an excellent reputation with industry leaders through our 1000+ commercial cook/baker graduates working in a variety of professional culinary venues.

Our proven "JOB READY" method of instruction is provided in four weeks (120 hours) of training. Therefore, no commercial cooking experience is necessary. The morning schedule consists of classroom lectures and testing in the culinary arts, baking science and personal food service management. Hands-on cooking experience takes place every afternoon. Classes are taught Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. A new class commences each month and graduates in four weeks.

TOTAL TUITION AND REGISTRATION FEE IS $2,995.00. ONE COST COVERS ALL: Training, Placement Assistance, Text Book, Testing, Chef's Jacket with Logo, Resumé preparation, ServSafe certificate is achievable, and Use of Tools, Food, Linens, Paper, Lunch, etc. Student loans, major credit cards, and government grants are available to those who qualify.

SCLAFANI'S COOKING SCHOOL is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Regents as a post-secondary proprietary school and is an approved institution to offer instruction in Career and Occupational Education. The American Culinary Federation accepts SCLAFANI'S COOKING SCHOOL continuing education points towards professional certification and re-certification.
